Ah Benefit, you never fail to entice
me with your products which is why when the postie dropped off a beautiful
parcel containing one of the brand new ultra plush lip glosses in Dandelion I
let out a little squeal!
Recently the brand has released some
gorgeous new lip glosses to coincide with their popular box o powders. There
are six lip glosses to choose from: dandelion, bella bamba, hoola, coralista,
sugerbomb and dallas. The only box o powder I’ve tried before was one called ‘throbb’
years and years ago when I first started to get into makeup (I’m not sure if
they do it anymore?)
Dandelion is a beautiful ‘your lips but
better’ shade with a touch of silvery shimmer. The lip glosses are wonderfully hydrating.
I’ve definitely put this to the test the last week or so as I’ve had horrible
chapped lips due to being a poorly mess for the large part of last week.
Keeping my lips topped up with the Dandelion has ensured my lips are back to
their usual pouty softness! Can you tell I’m a bit of a lip product junkie!
As usual, the Benefit packaging is
gorgeous. They really know how to make a product look beautiful! Kudos to the
packaging technologist! You can pick them up from any Benefit counter or from
their website online for £13.50.
Overall, the Benefit Ultra Plush Lip
Gloss in Dandelion is a really nice moisturising lip gloss without any
stickiness. I think the box o powder and its partnering lip gloss would make a
really, really cute present that
I am sure any girl would love to receive!
