I was unsure whether or not to post this. I'm not one for doing make up tutorials 1. because I don't think I'm very good at them and 2. because there are already sooo many out there! That said, I posted this picture of my eye make up that I was wearing to meet my lovely blogging friends in Manchester on twitter and got quite a good response.
So to create this look I first filled in my brows using the Christian Semi-Permanent kit - I used the thick stencil to create the arch. I had already applied a face primer, foundation, concealer and powder so didn't add anything else to my eyes.
I then patted Chanel Illusion D'Ombre in Epatant with a small eye shadow brush all over my eye lid up to the socket line before using my Physicians Formula liquid eye liner to draw a cat eye along my lash line. After I had done this I then took some MUA glitter liquid liner (I can't seem to the find the name but its the gold one!) and patted this all over the the illusion d'ombre. I then used Make Up Forever Glitter in number 11 (which I got sent in a swap) then quickly patted this all over the MUA liner to get the proper glittery effect!
Excuse my dressing gown, I always wear it when I'm putting on make up because I get it every where!
Once it was dry (which didn't take long) I used a dark brown matt eye shadow from a MAC palette along my socket line and blended it out to soften it up a bit. I then applied a small amount of highlighter just under the brow bone to lift the eye area.
I finished the look by curling my lashes and applying two coats of No7 Extravagant Volume Mascara before cutting a Japanese eye lash in half and sticking it to my outer corner.
You can't see it in this particular photo but I actually added a bit of the illusion d'ombre to my lower lash line later on and into the inner corner of my eye to make them look extra sparkly!

I had mega envy over this look! Your eyes looked gorgeous! Think I'll have to try those MUA liners out. I would have never thought of using them all over the lid but I've seen a couple of tutorials now where people have used them like that! xx
