Today's post is on a beautiful present to give a friend for a birthday, Christmas, wedding or just because!
I found an old teacup and saucer from a charity shop and decided to fill it with lovely little home made beauty treats!
First of all I have a tiny bottle of bath/massage oil. Basically its just sweet almond oil mixed with ylang-ylang essential oil. You can use any carrier/essential oil you like to suit your/the gift receivers preferences. The tiny bottle is from range.
Next there is the sage and fennel bath melt. I mixed dried sage and crushed fennel seeds with shea butter then rolled into a ball then placed in a little muslin cloth and tied.
Then we have the lavender bath melts that I've already featured on here before! See the DIY beauty section at the top for the recipe! I also popped in some calendula bath melts made exactly the same way as the lavender ones but in different shapes!
Next we have the Oatmeal, Ginger and Almond bath bag. Again, this is super simple. Mix together a tablespoon of oatmeal, a teaspoon of ground almonds and 5-7 drops of ginger essential oil. Pop into a muslin bag and tie.
Once you've made all your little pieces simply pop them into your teacup and wrap with clear plastic wrap then tie at the top with beautiful ribbons!
Near Christmas I'll be doing LOTS of DIY gifts for the 25 days of Christmas so make sure you check back then to get some inspiration. If you fancy checking out some more DIY beauty check out my section at the top for ideas and tips! Have a lovely weekend beauties!
