I thought I’d write a review on my favourite mascara of all time – Clinique High Impact Curling Mascara in Black. Before this mascara I always had problems with ‘panda eyes’ throughout the day where my mascara would rub off underneath my eyes. As a result I tried loads of different mascaras out: various wands, different formulas, waterproof, sensitive etc, the list goes on!
This mascara coats every single one of my lashes and gives the best ‘false lash’ effect I’ve ever had with a mascara alone.
Does it really last all day?
Absolutely nothing will budge this mascara including sweat, tears, rain. However, when you do want to remove it the ONLY thing that will remove it is warm water. It comes off in tubes - its a very strange removal technique but it definitely means the mascara won't run throughout the day.

The only downside to this product is the price.
When I first bought it, it cost £12.50 but the price has been bumped up to £15 now which makes it a tad too expensive if you’re on a budget. I haven’t found another mascara that has this type of formula whereby the product can only be removed with warm water. If you know of any please let me know!
Does this product work?
Absolutely yes. If you want a mascara that gives you long, thick, luscious lashes that doesn’t budge all day then this is for you.
If you have any comments about this review or you have tried a better mascara please feel free to get in contact!

I know another mascara like this - Blinc! Rather than painting the lashes it seals a tube around each, this can only come off with the combination of water and pressure - oil based make up removers don't help. I haven't tried it because I have very watery eyes and I rub them a fair bit, but they do have a liquid eyeliner which works in exactly the same way, and that is absolutely amazing for withstanding my watery eyes, so I absolutely trust the claims about the mascara. They do sample sizes, if you want to try it, and these come with vouchers for your next order :) I'm not paid by them, I promise! Just a very happy customer, and it sounds similar to this mascara :) http://www.blincuk.co.uk/
ReplyDeleteI love a company that does free samples - its always a good sign! Ahh thank you for the tip off! :) I will be sure to check them out, I love this 'tube' technology!
